What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) allows you to subscribe to up-to-date offers, in the form of feeds, based on your interests. The feed is sent through an RSS reader, such as My Yahoo! and appears as a link in your account. When the link is clicked on, you're brought to the Web site containing the offer in its entirety. Goran Ivanisevic to make debut at Boodles Classique at The Mere Golf Resort & Spa
Goran Ivanisevic will headline this year’s Boodles Classique event. This was announced last night at a launch party in Manchester, where Boodles Director, Jody Wainwright, was joined by guest of honour, Richard Krajicek, who officially launched the tournament and announced that 2001 Wimbledon Champion, Goran Ivanisevic, will lead this year’s Boodles Classique at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa from June 27th and 29th.
Wainwright was also joined by Paralympic Gold Medallist, Lee Pearson CBE, who was representing Enable Sport, this year’s Official Tournament Charity. Enable Sport works to give disabled athletes a chance to be able to compete by providing support and equipment. Read More
The Mere Unveils New Golf Academy
The Mere Golf Resort and Spa unveils new golfing initiative for North West. The Mere is marking its first birthday celebrations following its resort status with the unveiling of a new Golf Academy. Graham Neville, the resort’s PGA Professional will work under the stewardship of Darren Cain, Senior PGA Golf Instructor, to introduce a host of new golf tuition opportunities, focusing on developing both junior and adult golf coaching. This announcement is the culmination of a year of golfing highlights for the award-winning 18-hole golf course which include over 30,000 rounds of golf played, six holes-in-one scored and a staggering 198,000 balls hit into The Mere lake and 2,100 buggies used over the course of the year! The resort has also attracted some of the region’s leading sporting figures, including Liverpool FC captain Steven Gerrard who hosted his first UK charity golf day at The Mere for his charity The Steven Gerrard Foundation.
